International contemporary artist Rick Odell has devoted himself to work that is appreciated on more than one level. Including socially taboo subjects and current events. He is always thinking about his work, including past, present and future projects.
Rick has his MFA from Long Island University, C.W. Post. He is based out of New York, but can, will, and have traveled for clients. He has been commissioned by Getty Images, American Express, Tribeca Film Festival, and Svedka Vodka to name a few and has been published in USA Today, Newsday, The Daily News, and websites like Life.com, and Zimbio.
Currently Rick is employed in the Art Department at both Hofstra University and the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. Rick's recent work "My Better Half" wart part of the Pingyao International Photography Festival held in China in 2009 and will be featured at Soho Photo in June of 2012
